I never thought I would love wearing bright eye shadows on my eyes. I always stuck with neutrals and the brightest I could go was gold. But as time passed, I've grown tired of looking at the same shades and tones. I've become more experimental with colors... what works, what bombs. I have to say it's refreshing!
I want to discredit the saying that wearing colors on the lids is too 80's or unappealing. It's all about how you apply the colors and match it with the other elements on your face. I will be coming up with a video talking about the things to consider in choosing the colors you will use when doing makeup. Subscribe to my channel, follow me on Twitter, and like my Facebook page to keep yourself updated about that video. My links are on the right.
For this tutorial, I used DollFace Cosmetic's Jetset palette. If you've been following my videos for a while now, then you wouldn't be surprised about how much I love the palette. It comes with a number of bright and fun colors that are matte finish. Its size is very convenient for traveling, and the mirror inside it is HUGE.
This is the look I wore when I filmed my All About Foundations video. There, I talked about foundations and even added a post on how to find the right shade of foundation.
Here's the list of all the products I used for this look:

That's it for my tutorial, I hope you liked the look. I will be coming up with more bright looks that are wearable and very easy to recreate, so stay tuned.
Thank you for your time and have a great day :)
